**Our little doll Velvet is 2 months old**

Can't believe 2 whole months have gone already!!!! Where does the time go....

I had my 6 week check up and it all went well, I just need to go back and see haematologist in Melbourne and see what needs to be done about blood disorder. I have finished my daily injections......thank god!!! but I am still taking aspirin daily.

Chloe, Georgia and Jasper are all well, busy with school, kinder and after school activities. They are still fighting over Velvet about who's turn it is to hold her and who will help bath and change her..........she is very very loved.

Chloe is getting excited out her camp to Swan Hill which is coming up in a few weeks, they are away for 3 days and 2 nights, long enough at her age!!!

Georgia is having a sleep over at school, it is something they do every year. They sleep in their class room in sleeping bags, then next year they sleep in the class room in tents!!! She can't wait for that.
Jappy is getting ready for Dad's night at kinder, the theme this year is Dinosaurs!!!!

The kids are going to start doing swimming lessons again in Bendigo soon, they just have to do another assessment and find out that time they can fit us in, they girls are looking forward to starting again but Jap is scared and does not want to go!! hopefully he will be fine after the assessment.

The girls have school sports are come up at the end of the month.

Chloe has another orthodontist appointment tomorrow, hopefully she gets a good report, she has only been wearing her plate every second night not sure how long she will have to continue to do that. The difference that the plate has made to her teeth and jaw is incredible, not sure if she will still need braces in the future or not.

Velvet has been to the chiro twice to help with her reflux, I think it has help a lot. The lady who we see is just fantastic, so lovely. The time we have spent with her has been much more informative than any time I have ever spent with our maternal child health nurse!!! Velvet weighed 8lb 5oz last Wednesday. At night she is having her last feed at 10pm and sleeping until 6am!!! Saturday night she slept from 10pm till 7.30am!!!! I can't believe it, none of the others EVER slept like that.

Lots more going on but I just don't have time to type it in, so I will just add a few photos.

I still have one spot left in my pay it forward challenge if anyone is interested.

LOL Just had to add this photo...........the look on Georgia face is a classic, it just says STOP taking photos mum and take her................LOLI also have a photo of a "silly girl" I made via a link on Melissa Goodsells blog, I will try and up load it later today.

EDIT: here is "Silly Girl" it pretty rough but the girls think she is cool and both want one of there own............

My baby girl has put on heaps of weight and now weighs 7lb 15 1/2 ozs (3.610kg) what a little piggy!!! Its all a bit sad as it just shows how quickly they grow and turn into little people. She also smiled at me for the first time this morning!!! A real smile......not a wind smile LOL. She also smiled at jasper later on too. I will try and get a photo today.

****** 1 Month old ******

My baby girl was 1 month old yesterday !!!! wow how fast has that gone..... she has just fitted into our family and our routine without any trouble at all. She is still feeding and sleeping as she should be so life is good.

Friday night she and I had our first girls night out. We went out with some other girls from our heath centre / playgroup. Velvet was very very well behaved, you would of hardly even known she was there. There was 3 other babies there too, all under 3 months, all girls and all on there best behaviour. All the mums had a lovely time. Thanks Bri for organising it.

Yesterday we went for a drive to the Granites (mt egbert). The kids were itching to get out of the house as was I. The kids had a great time running and climbing on all the rocks. Craig carried Velvet around in the carrier and she slept most of the time.

Not much going on this week other thank the usual, kinder and school, Tuesday is dancing and I will go to health centre on Wednesday and get Velvet weighed. I also think I have to help do a nit check on Wednesday morning at the school. Thursday is a day off school but we have to go in for "student / teacher conference" So the week will end up being fairly busy after all.

Only 16 more needles to go.......... woo hoo !!!! I think by the time I have finished I will have given myself over 260 injections !!!!! Pretty good for someone who had a bad needle phobia !


Since having Velvet I have had to do the injections in my leg !!!!! and it has hurt like hell but I should really not complain because if I did not do these injections during my pregnancy my chance of having a live baby were only 20% but with the blood thinners it put my chances up to 80% so I really need to be thankful. I have had to continue the injections for 6 weeks after having Velvet to reduce my chances of have a blood clot. I am also still on daily aspirin, but I am not sure how long I will need to take these. I will need to go back and see my haematologist in Melbourne some time soon to find out what I need to do in future as the disorder I have can be very complicated.

Every blood test and every injection has been well worth it though when I hold my gorgeous baby girl in my arms.

Time flies...........

My baby girl is now 3 weeks old. She is the perfect baby, sleeps good and feeds good. life is good.

We had our first day out shopping on Tuesday, we went to Swan Hill. I would not of even know I had her, she just slept the whole time.......it was the other 3 monsters who kept me on my toes. We did manage to get what we wanted, luckily (school pants for the girls)



No other news at the moment.

Velvet and I are both doing well. Velvet is a good baby, she is feeding every 4 hours and last night slept almost 7 hours! I hope she continues to be this good as it makes life very easy.

{{{{Finally I am a published scrapbooker !!!!!!}}}}

Last night I had a phone call from a friend saying congratulations on becoming a published scrapbooker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a layout in this months scrapbooking memories (Vol 9 No 1 page33) woo hoo, I know its not as exciting as a new baby or being on the cover of scrapbook creations (like mardi..........you go girl) but I am very excited and wanted to share it with you all.

The layout was accepted at least 8 months ago but never made it to publication so I just forgot all about it, I got the mag in the mail yesterday but did not look at it as I was keeping it to read in hospital, but when I got the phone call I just had to look.........

My eldest DD Chloe is 9 today !!!!!!



I can't believe she is 9.......times goes by to quickly.......she is growing up so fast and turning in to a young lady.

This layout is done from a online free class of Kim Archers, I love how it has turned out, it is about Chloe, Almost 9.......

All those years ago I would never of imagined that in 9 years time I would be 2 days away from having baby number 4!!!!! I was most likely thinking I am never doing this again!!!!!!

I also must wish my SIL Raquel a happy birthday too.

This will be my last post until I am home from hospital, Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Thanks to those girls who have sent me good luck emails and messages, it means a lot to me.

{{{{2 WEEKS TO GO}}}}

Just a quick up-date....

2 weeks until bub number 4 arrives!

1 more week of injections (until after I have the baby then I need to do them for another 6 weeks)

I did a small amount of scrapbooking this week.......below is 1 of the layouts, its made using lots of Heidi Swapp stuff.........I LOVE all her stuff

I must say a BIG thank you to my DH Craig because he spoilt me this week and got me a new camera!!!!!!!!!!

It is a Cannon 400D !!!!!!!!!!............I am still getting used to using it, luckily it comes with a very easy users manual. Can't wait till we have some nice weather and I can get out and take photos to my hearts content. Below are a few photos I have taken so far...........

3 in one week and then none for 3 weeks...........

I am finding it really hard to find time and energy to do this blog thing so I will just do a quick and brief update.(what I can remember!!!!!)

1st May - OB appointment. Had been feeling really tired and exhausted and have been feeling quite lightheaded so he checked my last blood results and said my iron levels were really really low, I am now on a high does of iron and feeling much better. Still on daily injections and aspirin.

10th May - we all went to dentist for a check up, thankfully no one had to have anything serious done, Chloe and Georgia both had fluoride fillers put in there 2 back teeth, Craig had a clean and Jap and I had nothing done. I will go back after I have had the baby and get some cosmetic things done that can not be done during pregnancy.

11th May - School Fete - each year 2 friends and myself have a popcorn stall, this year we did popcorn and mini donuts............. We started cooking at 9.30am (at a friends house) then went to the school at 11.00 and started selling at 12.00, it was a bit slow for a start but by the end of the fete we had sold approx 300 donuts and 80 cups of popcorn. At the end of the day I was just so sick of the sight donuts, I could not even think about taking any home for Craig. (he did get to try some as he came to the fete for lunch). Weather we make donuts again next year is yet to be decided as it was a hell of a lot of work for really not much profit, next year we may try fairy floss and popcorn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14th May - Had a cut and colour and Jap had a trim.

15th May - OB appointment, he was running a hour and 1/2 late!!!!!!!!! but everything is going well.

Had to quickly rush home as the school was having a family afternoon. In family groups we made a Dinosaur Diorama as this terms theme is dinosaurs. The Girls loved it that we were there doing stuff with them, jasper thought it was great, he thought he was a big school boy......

16th May - Mums night at kinder. Mums night is a night just for the mums and kinder kids, we get to go and do lots of activities with our kinder kid, then they sing songs do a little play for the mums and before we leave the present us with a little storey they have helped to write about us.

19th May - Chloe, Georgia, myself, 2 of my friends and 3 of their girls all went to see "high school musical" (the musical) in Ballarat, we had a lovely girly day together. Craig and Jasper had a boys day together too as they went to Melbourne to see Essendon and ???? play at Telstra Dome, they took my Dad and brother as well.

This week - Had a blood test yesterday and then Thursday night the girls have got a school concert which they are looking forward too. Other than that I am trying to take it a bit easy while I can, I am now 33 weeks so I only have about 4.5 weeks to go. (i am booked in for a c-section at 37 weeks) All going to plans this time next month I will be in hospital with a new bub !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just had to add these two photos take by Jasper on my phone, the first one is of him and the dog.........well him and the dogs nose and the other is the dog (astro) taken through the fence.........LOL he is a budding photographer in the making............
